Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submission Status:
The Eurasian Herald is currently accepting submissions for publication.


Cost of Publication:
A fee of $50 (or 25,000 KZT) is applicable only if the article is accepted for publication. This fee covers open-access publication, ensuring that articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide.


General Requirements

  1. Accuracy:
    Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all content, including quotes, charts, tables, maps, and references.

  2. Relevance:
    Avoid including irrelevant images, graphics, or other non-essential materials in the article.

  3. Keywords:
    Select clear and precise keywords to enhance search engine visibility and the dissemination of the work.

  4. Acknowledgments:
    Authors may include a section at the end of the article to acknowledge financial support, grants, or other forms of assistance received for their research.


Format Requirements

  1. Graphics and Images:

    • All graphics and images must be clear, high-quality, and ready for publication, as the journal does not enhance submitted materials.
    • Include a title and source for each image, graphic, and table.
  2. Placement:

    • Embed all images, graphics, and tables within the text, positioned appropriately in the relevant sections where they are referenced.

Bibliographic References

The Eurasian Herald adheres to the APA (American Psychological Association 7th Edition) citation style. Authors must ensure their references meet the following criteria:

  1. In-Text Citations:
    Use the abbreviated format (Author, Year: pp.) for in-text citations.

  2. Reference List:

    • A complete reference list should appear at the end of the article.
    • Preference is given to recent references (ideally within the last five years) to reflect contemporary research.
    • Include DOIs for each reference, where available.
  3. Footnotes:
    Minimize the use of footnotes. Where necessary, they should be concise and relevant.

  4. Classical Compilations:
    Citations of classical authors should follow canonical compilations with accurate referencing.

Socio-Humanitarian Research

This section focuses on studies in social sciences and humanities, including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, political science, history, cultural studies, and philosophy. The aim is to explore issues relevant to the Eurasian context while fostering dialogue and understanding of broader global challenges.

STEAM-Related Research

Dedicated to research in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, this section highlights innovative approaches and advancements in these fields. It serves as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, emphasizing practical and theoretical contributions that can address contemporary issues.

Interdisciplinary Research

This section bridges various disciplines, encouraging studies that integrate methodologies, theories, and insights from multiple academic fields. It aims to tackle complex problems that require holistic and multifaceted approaches, promoting novel perspectives and solutions.

Socio-Humanitarian Research

This section focuses on studies in social sciences and humanities, including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, political science, history, cultural studies, and philosophy.
